A note from the founder of Redwoods & Ferns…
Welcome, nature-loving, success-driven, family-focused introverted extroverts! This community is here to embrace you with open arms.
Since becoming a yoga student in 2004, I’ve discovered the vital role that community and connection play in personal growth. Along the way, I noticed a missing piece—a space where like-minded individuals can truly uplift each other, especially those who feel yoga isn’t for them (spoiler alert: it’s for everyone).
As an educator, I’ve seen the power of community in physical and spiritual healing. That’s why Redwoods & Ferns is built on self-discovery, empathy, and the belief that we are truly more similar than different. By connecting with nature and exploring our own capacity for positivity, we can create a toolkit for managing stress and discomfort, drawing strength from our shared experiences.
In this community, you’ll find yoga classes, retreats, and Social Emotional Learning workshops to support your journey of personal growth. I am so excited to have you here.

When your body is stagnant, transformation is difficult. As you let your body take up space through movement you create room in your mind for action and personal growth.
